  Pehaps sharing a parking lot with Dollar General really should be an indication of how "upscale" a restaurant trying to cater to the Chicago tourist crowd can be. The only upside to this place is its appearance and decor. There was one big table (party of 9) dining when we arrived, but other than that there were only two couples seated, one of them finishing as we arrived, and two people at the bar. Service was not the slowest I've ever experienced, yet still did not move much faster than pond water. My wife ordered a beer and we watched it sit at the bar for almost 10 minutes before it was brought to the table. Needless to say, it was no longer chilled by the time she received it. We then placed our orders. The spicy pickles looked like they'd be worth trying, so we ordered that for our appetizer, along with our meals. While waiting for the app, she had finished her beer. When the waiter came by again he offered us bread (the welcoming when you sit down kind, not the customer has been seated 25 min already kind) and my wife another beer. Yes, please. A couple of minutes later the bread arrived but no beer, and he says oh I have some food coming for you. Great! He returns with the main meals. Totally forgot about the appetizer. He left to go get the beer, which was warm again from sitting. At this point, I didn't care about the appetizer any more, so long as we weren't charged for it. Luckily, we weren't, but the food was average at best and when complemented with the lack of service, I'd steer clear of this place unless you have a lot of time to waste and don't mind overpaying for subpar food and warm beer.
